Skin Tightening

Secret™ RF

SK Dermatology is proud to offer Secret RF for the neck, chest, arms and knees . This microneedling treatment improves signs of aging skin, fine lines, wrinkles and scars with little to no downtime. Secret RF uses microneedles to deliver fractional Radio Frequency (RF) energy into varying levels of the skin including the deeper layers where treatment is most beneficial. This unique delivery of energy allows us to achieve optimal results on all skin types.

Secret RF is an easy, safe and effective procedure that can be performed in a quick, 20-minute treatment session. To achieve the optimal effect, 3-4 Secret RF treatments are recommended. You’ll start to notice results after your second treatment, but optimal results appear 3 months after the last treatment.

Your Secret RF treatment consultant can provide all the details you need to make an informed decision about the procedure. Contact us today to schedule a consultation with our Secret RF treatment specialist!

Exilis Ultra

Exilis is an FDA approved device that offers a non-surgical solution using radio frequency (RF) energy for fat reduction and tissue tightening anywhere on the body. The procedure uses safe radio waves to heat your skin and targeted fat cells. This thermal energy speeds up the metabolic activity of the fat cells causing them to shrink. At the same time it stimulates and strengthens the collagen network which improves skin texture.

Exilis is one of the first systems that produces actual circumferential reduction. By combining RF energy with cooling, all areas of the body where stubborn fatty deposits persist or tighter, firmer skin is desired can be treated. While Exilis is heating the tissues, patients remain relaxed and comfortable.

Exilis offers a revolutionary non-invasive form of treatment for the reduction of wrinkles and for the reshaping of unwanted fat deposits. Exilis also provides a method of after surgery smoothing and skin tightening from invasive liposuction procedures. Exilis treatments can postpone or eliminate the need for invasive surgery particularly for patients with mild to moderate fat deposits and who may not want liposuction surgery.

Titan

The Titan® treatment is a safe, non-surgical procedure that uses an infrared light source to tighten skin and reverse the signs of aging. The Titan device uniformly distributes heat below the skin, causing collagen contraction, while preserving the outer layer of skin through continuous cooling. This process stimulates long-term collagen rebuilding, leaving patients with younger-looking skin. The procedure tones, lifts and tightens skin on the face and neck and can be used to treat lax, loose or wrinkled skin throughout the body – including the abdomen, thighs and arms. The result is a more youthful, fresh complexion and long-lasting, tighter skin without injections, surgery or recovery time.

Leg Vein & Spider Vein Reduction

Sclerotherapy

Sclerotherapy is a procedure used to treat spider veins by injecting a solution into the veins which causes them to gradually disappear. By injecting a salt solution, known as a sclerosing solution, the lining of the veins become irritated and eventually turns into scar tissue that then fades away. This method is the preferred treatment for spider veins and has been used since the 1930s.

This procedure is usually performed in your doctor’s office and takes no more than an hour. Most patients need 2 to 4 treatments in order to achieve desired results. There is no downtime other than avoiding strenuous activities for the first 2 to 3 days.

While sclerotherapy is proven as an effective treatment for spider veins, it is not recommended for everybody. Pregnant women and those whose saphenous veins are affected are not typically eligible for this procedure. Sclerotherapy is not effective for large varicose veins and is only recommended for smaller, superficial veins. Talk to your doctor to find out if sclerotherapy is right for you.

Excel V+ Laser

A vascular laser that treats fine spider veins and superficial varicose veins in multiple treatments. Post treatment cooling applied, no compression stockings needed, best to avoid self tanners or sun tanning prior to treatment sessions.

Hair Removal

Cutera CoolGlide XEO Laser

The Cutera CoolGlide XEO Laser is one of the most advanced laser hair removal systems currently available, as it effectively removes unwanted hair from patients with all skin types. Hair from nearly any part of the body can be removed through targeted pulses of light energy that destroy hair follicles in the active growth phase. Most patients achieve their desired results within three to six treatment sessions, with no need for any kind of anesthesia.

Skin Tag Removal

A skin tag is a common type of skin growth that looks like a piece of hanging skin and most often develops on the neck, underarms, eyelids and under the breasts often as a result of clothing rubbing against the skin. Most skin tags are acquired, although some people are born with them.

While skin tags are not cancerous and don’t cause problems unless they are continuously irritated, many people choose to have them removed for precautionary or cosmetic purposes. There are several different ways to effectively remove skin tags, including freezing, burning and removing with scissors. Small tags may be removed without the use of anesthesia, while larger ones may require a local anesthetic. These treatments are usually effective in removing the growth, but may cause temporary skin discoloration or bleeding. Your doctor will decide which treatment option is best for you.
